Graduate Quantitative Associate – Consulting

About the role

Join EY RDS as a Graduate Quantitative Associate in our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team based in Mauritius. You will work alongside actuaries, quants and risk specialists to deliver valuation, pricing and risk modelling solutions for leading African banks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bulk valuation of vanilla financial instruments and complex derivative portfolios.
• Develop and maintain valuation models for employee share options and embedded derivatives.
• Conduct credit risk modelling, stress testing and IFRS 9 calculations across retail, SME and corporate assets.
• Design and implement valuation policies, interest‑rate term‑structure models and hedge‑effectiveness assessments.
• Create data visualisations and generate insights for regulatory and economic capital modelling.

Required profile

• Final‑year student pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Risk Management or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for financial risk and valuation.
• Ability to work in a high‑performing, collaborative team environment.
