Hotel Plumber – Maintenance & Water Systems

About the role

Constance Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated plumber to join the maintenance team at its luxury resort on the south‑eastern coast of Mauritius. The role involves ensuring safe, reliable water, gas and oil systems while supporting overall hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Read daily consumption of water, gas and heavy oil and report to the Maintenance Assistant.
• Inspect drinkable water basins, central water feeding pump and pipelines for leaks or overflow.
• Perform repairs on pipelines, ducts, pool installations and boiler servicing according to plans.
• Carry out systematic verification of water leaks from the central pipeline to the complex’s canalisation.
• Assist with service works in guest rooms and provide by‑pass solutions for irrigation water shortages.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates in plumbing or related fields is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
