Senior Accounting Analyst – Outsourcing

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our International Accounting unit. The role involves managing a portfolio of overseas clients across various industries, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and delivering high‑quality statutory accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of international clients, posting sales and purchase invoices and reconciling bank transactions using QuickBooks and other accounting platforms.
• Prepare and deliver management and statutory accounts in line with deadlines.
• Collaborate with the BDO network to verify accounting records and incorporate relevant disclosures.
• Oversee the accounts‑payable cycle and provide listings as requested by clients.
• Liaise with clients to ensure timely delivery of outputs and meet service expectations.
• Monitor project performance, SLA/KPI measurements, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
• Identify risk exposures and escalate issues to management promptly.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in auditing or accounting.
• Degree or substantial progress toward ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones, under pressure and within budget constraints.
• Detail‑oriented, capable of working both independently and in a team.
