Senior Associate – Share Registry (Fund Administration)

About the role

The Senior Associate – Share Registry will act as the primary point of contact for fund investors, managers and internal teams, ensuring accurate fund documentation, investor registries and AML/KYC processing. You will support the Manager in leading a small team while also contributing individually to a range of transfer‑agency activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in leading a small team and act as an individual contributor.
• Provide professional support to investors, fund managers and internal stakeholders on documentation, investor registries and AML/KYC compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Mauritius regulator, CIMA and Apex AML policies; knowledge of Bermuda and BVI AML/KYC laws is a plus.
• Handle transfer‑agency functions including investor onboarding, Share Registry dealings, Metrosoft screening, payments, and FATCA/CRS filings.
• Coordinate with operations and CRM teams to complete tasks and maintain workflow.
• Understand fund structures, share classes versus series, and NAV per share.
• Apply basic accounting principles for subscriptions, redemptions and distributions and ensure timely investor communications.
• Maintain strong relationships with Fund Administration teams and support fund audits related to transfer‑agency requirements.

Required profile

• Leadership qualities to support a small team.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC laws and guidelines (Mauritius, CIMA, Apex policies).
• Familiarity with Bermuda and BVI AML/KYC regulations is advantageous.
• Good understanding of transfer‑agency processes and fund structures.
• Basic accounting knowledge related to fund transactions.
• Excellent command of English (both written and verbal); local language skills are a plus.
• Professional email etiquette and confidence in communicating with investors.
