Senior Finance Associate

About the role

PwC Africa is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join its Internal Firm Services team in Mauritius. You will play a strategic role in overseeing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting continuous improvement across the firm’s regional operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial reports, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
• Perform and supervise complex account reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights that inform business decisions and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee day‑to‑day compliance activities, including preparation, review, signing, and filing of board resolutions and related documentation.
• Review work produced by junior team members, offering guidance and constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with sound professional judgement.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
