Senior Software Developer – Position Management

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Position Management team and help build the next generation of Human Capital Management solutions. You will be part of a fast‑moving product group that delivers cloud‑based workforce tools used by thousands of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software lifecycle: design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, implementation partners and other Dayforce engineers.
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Modernize legacy .NET code and contribute to new features using modern .NET and JavaScript stacks.

Required profile

• Passion for building high‑quality software that impacts a global workforce.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) and ability to validate AI‑generated code before production use.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented principles (SOLID) and practical experience with C#/.NET, async/await, LINQ, and .NET 6+.
• Proven ability to create production‑grade UIs with React and TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SVG, Web APIs, JSON, REST) and SQL Server (T‑SQL) including schema design and performance tuning.
• Commitment to testing and quality through unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
