Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Resort Dining

About the role

Join the hospitality team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort on Mauritius, to deliver exceptional dining experiences in the restaurant, bar, lounge and room‑service areas. As a Waiter/Waitress you will ensure guests receive attentive, friendly and efficient service that reflects the resort’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and inform them of daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders using handheld POS devices, noting any special dietary requests.
• Serve meals and drinks, upsell items, and ensure timely delivery of each course.
• Handle payments, issue receipts and return change accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth service.
• Maintain table settings, replenish utensils, refill glasses and reset tables for the next guests.
• Open and pour wine at the table when required.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks and assist with stock replenishment.
• Fill in for absent staff and assume runner duties as needed.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
• Ability to communicate menu items and resort services clearly.
• Familiarity with basic cooking techniques.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts in a fast‑paced, upscale environment.
