Accounts Payable Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Associate to join our fast‑growing Finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will ensure timely vendor payments, maintain accurate AP records, and support month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare EFT and wire payments, manage cash flow and AP aging.
• Coordinate payments for rent, taxes, per diems, and reimbursements.
• Upload and code supplier invoices in Microsoft D365 with proper approval workflows.
• Ensure invoice compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile vendor statements, match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean AP system by monitoring open PO’s, requisitions, and GRNs.
• Reconcile AP sub‑ledger to the General Ledger.
• Support month‑end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting.
• Maintain organized vendor records and address exceptions before payment runs.
• Communicate with vendors about payment status and provide remittance advice.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for AP processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in an international or multi‑entity organization.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, global environments with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities.
