Associate Manager, Financial Reporting

About the role

The Associate Manager, Financial Reporting will lead a team responsible for the accounting and reporting of alternative‑asset structures, including private equity, real estate and debt funds. Based in Ebene, Mauritius, you will ensure high‑quality, timely delivery of NAV calculations, management and statutory reports for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of a professional team to meet client commitments, service level agreements and internal policies.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual NAVs, management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate with the management team to ensure accurate Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting across all structures.
• Review bookkeeping entries and ensure compliance with local laws and multiple accounting frameworks.
• Prepare and present performance dashboards, KPIs and management reports.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and client complaints in a timely manner.
• Support the development and mentoring of team members and contribute to strategic expansion of the service offering.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial reporting for alternative‑asset funds (private equity, real estate, debt).
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering accurate, compliant reports.
