Associate Manager

About the role

Apex Group is seeking an Associate Manager to lead a small team in delivering high‑quality management and statutory reporting for its fund administration clients. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal service level agreements while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of team members to meet client commitments, SLAs, and internal policies.
• Plan, coordinate, and complete management and statutory reporting for assigned structures.
• Review bookkeeping, monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts, and interim and annual financial statements.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulators to facilitate audits, tax filings, and regulatory surveys.
• Prepare and present KPI dashboards, reports, and management presentations.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Support implementation of new processes and automation initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date internal databases and client records.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in drafting and reviewing management accounts and financial statements under IFRS.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS developments and regulatory reporting regimes.
• Proven ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a small team.
• Experience with process improvement and automation.
