Client Service Officer

About the role

The Client Service Officer supports Relationship Managers and the Front Office by handling client onboarding, compliance checks, and administrative tasks. This position ensures that client files are complete, accurate, and meet regulatory standards while providing high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with onboarding new clients, gathering and preparing KYC/CDD documentation.
• Complete internal onboarding forms, risk ratings, and ensure timely approvals from the New Business Approval Committee.
• Maintain compliant client files and support periodic client reviews, AML checks, and 120‑day onboarding verifications.
• Perform basic risk screening, Google searches, and transaction monitoring as directed.
• Record and monitor conflicts of interest, breaches, complaints, and regulatory exceptions.
• Escalate missing documentation or potential risks to the Risk & Compliance team.
• Update client profiles, including due‑diligence and PEP/EP classifications.
• Collaborate with compliance, accounting, and other departments to ensure smooth client service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of experience in trust administration, financial services, compliance, or related fields.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and discretion.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
