Dotnet Developer – Financial Services (C#/.NET Core)

About the role

Join Deloitte International Services' Digital Factory team to develop data‑intensive applications and innovative user interfaces for the financial industry.

Key responsibilities

• Focus on software engineering, developing expertise in the financial sector while performing software engineering tasks.
• Build data‑intensive applications that handle large volumes of data, integrate with APIs, and perform heavy processing using C#/.NET Core and SQL Server.
• Design and implement creative user interfaces using modern technologies such as React (including Redux, Saga) and Angular.
• Employ agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) consistently to enhance productivity and collaboration.
• Adhere to lifecycle best practices, including TDD, Clean Code principles, Quality Assurance, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate closely with financial experts and maintain regular communication with clients to understand needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Provide transparent stakeholder reporting on scope, progress, and any issues encountered during delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of software development experience, preferably in an agile environment.
• Ability to write elegant, readable code praised by peers.
• Familiarity with code quality practices and continuous delivery.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills; fluent in English (French is a plus).
