Executive – Corporate Secretarial Officer

About the role

The Executive will join our Company Secretarial team to manage medium‑to‑high complexity corporate secretarial processes. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness and regulatory compliance while supporting a diverse portfolio of entities across Mauritius.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review complex corporate secretarial tasks, including board and shareholder meeting preparation, resolution drafting and minute taking.
• Manage governance activities such as constitution amendments, investment approvals, distributions, insurance renewals, MLRO/DMLRO/CO appointments and AML/KYC reviews.
• Prepare regulatory deliverables – TRC applications, payment instructions, statutory filings, Annual Administrators Reports, AML/CFT assessments and other filings required by the FSC.
• Coach and guide junior team members, review their work and assist during regulator inspections.
• Maintain high‑quality record‑keeping by updating systems, scanning and archiving documents, and executing ad‑hoc client requests.
• Ensure protection of information assets in line with internal ISMS policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling complex corporate secretarial and governance tasks.
• Familiarity with Mauritian regulatory requirements and FSC compliance procedures.
• Ability to coach junior staff and manage client or service escalations effectively.
