Fund Operations Manager

About the role

The Fund Operations Manager will lead a dedicated team responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of closed‑end fund services. You will ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across the fund lifecycle while supporting client relationships and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team on all project assignments, operational deliverables and ad‑hoc tasks.
• Manage resources, monitor work quality and review timesheets to balance capacity.
• Provide regular operational updates to senior management and identify training needs.
• Ensure compliance with Mauritius Companies Act, Financial Services Act 2007, Code of Corporate Governance, Data Protection Act 2017, Securities Act 2005 and related regulations.
• Oversee licensing, regulatory filings and closing procedures for closed‑end funds.
• Maintain AML customer due‑diligence records and support governance functions.
• Attend internal and external client meetings as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fund operations or similar financial services functions.
• Strong understanding of Mauritius regulatory framework and global business sector risk management.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a team while handling multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and senior‑level reporting.
