Private Equity Fund Accounting Executive

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a motivated Executive to join its Private Equity fund accounting team. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing NAV reporting packs and financial statements for a range of private equity funds, supporting both client needs and internal audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity funds on a frequency required by clients, including review where necessary.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual account and financial statements for client funds.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
• Assist with transfer agency transactions as required.
• Maintain overall client relationships, respond to inquiries and attend client meetings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified or holding an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and willing to work extra hours when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
