Promoter / Brand Ambassador (Short‑Term)

About the role

Smollan is looking for energetic promoters to represent client brands on a short‑term basis. You will engage directly with customers in‑store or on‑site, raise awareness of the offering and encourage participation through face‑to‑face interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the client brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Approach and engage customers in‑store or on‑site, educating them about the product or service.
• Assist customers with digital or physical sign‑up processes and distribute promotional material or samples.
• Capture customer feedback and report daily engagement metrics.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Prior experience in sales, promotions or customer service is preferred.
• Bi‑ or multilingual ability, depending on provincial language needs.
• Strong communication, confident and approachable personality.
• Availability for a short‑term contract, including weekends, public holidays and flexible hours.

Required skills

• Comfortable using digital devices such as tablets, mobile apps and QR‑code sign‑ups.
