About the role
The Purchasing Assistant supports the Purchasing Department of RIU Hotels & Resorts, ensuring smooth procurement processes that contribute to an excellent guest experience. This position is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management for the purchasing team.
- Coordinate purchase orders and monitor their timely processing.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, pricing, and product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels.
- Assist in researching potential vendors and obtaining quotations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Minimum HSC (Higher School Certificate) qualification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- General competence with MS Office applications.
