RTR & Intercompany Accountant

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Port Louis as an RTR & Intercompany Accountant, responsible for ensuring compliance, accurate financial reporting and effective balance‑sheet management across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process journals and perform all RTR and intercompany accounting tasks daily.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities in line with DHL guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Manage balance‑sheet reconciliation of accounts each month and monitor high‑risk items.
• Conduct detailed reconciliation of intercompany partners, settle outstanding payables and follow up receivables.
• Resolve disputes, raise IRCN when required and support in‑house bank and MEC reconciliations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues, maintain internal controls and ensure audit readiness.

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to address issues, drive change and act professionally.

Required skills

• IFRS and local GAAP knowledge.
• Financial reporting and journal processing.
• Balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliation.
• CREST reporting experience.
