Security Support Analyst

About the role

As a Security Support Analyst you will join SD Worx’s Security Operations team, analysing technical cybersecurity incidents and strengthening the company’s cyber defences across multiple data‑centres, cloud platforms and workplace environments. You will work with a variety of security tools and support internal users and contractors in maintaining a secure IT landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security logs from SIEM, EDR, NDR and XDR solutions to detect threats.
• Optimize alerting and triage processes, creating detection and mitigation signatures.
• Provide expert support for security controls, configuration management, certificate and cryptographic device handling, and privileged access management (CyberArk).
• Perform technical analysis of network, host and data‑related security incidents.
• Assess cyber indicators for relevance and risk, and recommend improvements to monitoring systems.
• Execute and refine SOC playbooks, conduct incident response, and assist with computer forensics.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation covering nights and weekends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT security or IT administration.
• Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory/Entra ID, IP networking and security tooling.
• Familiarity with security operation concepts and a willingness to learn in a fast‑changing environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CySA+, CEH) are a plus.
