Senior Claim Officer

About the role

The Senior Claim Officer will manage warranty, field campaigns, goodwill and maintenance contract obligations for BIA Group across Mauritius and other locations. Reporting to the Claim Manager, you will ensure accurate claim processing, maximize cost recovery, and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, timely support to OEMs and BIA country teams for claim and OEM obligation management.
• Coordinate claim processes, submit claims to OEMs, and track reimbursements to BIA and end customers.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal customers and OEM representatives.
• Escalate blocking issues to the Claim Manager and ensure alignment across the organization.
• Deliver regular trainings and create training content for local entities.
• Promote best‑practice sharing across countries and ensure effective backup coverage.

Required profile

• BAC +2 education.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar claim or warranty management role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Strong knowledge of warranty processes and ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, basic formulas).
• ERP system experience, preferably SAP.
