Senior Salesforce Developer - Remote Based in Mauritius

About the role

Smplicity Consulting is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to work remotely from Mauritius. The role is client‑facing and requires translating business needs into robust technical designs while maintaining high‑quality delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components and APIs.
• Customize objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, reports and dashboards.
• Configure security settings including profiles, permission sets, OWD, roles and sharing rules.
• Integrate Salesforce with third‑party applications via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
• Collaborate with administrators, analysts and end users to gather and refine requirements.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews and documentation.
• Participate in release management, sandbox testing and production deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with strong consulting mindset.
• Excellent communication in French and English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components.
• Salesforce data model, security model and sharing rules.
• Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
• REST/SOAP API integration, middleware tools.
• Git or other version‑control systems.
• CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.
