Senior System Administrator – Lead IT Infrastructure Team

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Senior System Administrator to lead our IT infrastructure team. The role combines hands‑on server and cloud management with people leadership, ensuring high performance, security and compliance across on‑premise and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate tasks to a team of system administrators.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server 2022/2025 on‑premise and in Azure.
• Manage network equipment, firewalls, VPNs and site‑to‑site connections.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online).
• Implement security controls based on CIS, NIST and ISO frameworks and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Monitor system and network performance using tools such as Zabbix and conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Oversee Windows patch management, backup solutions (Veeam, Azure Backup) and regular restore drills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and lead IT projects, upgrades and migrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of system administration experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft AZ‑900/104/500, Cisco CCNA).
• Proven ability to manage projects and lead technical teams.
