TypeScript Developer - Test Automation Focus

About the role

Deloitte's Digital Factory is seeking a proactive TypeScript Developer with a strong focus on test automation. You will work closely with DevOps, business, and development teams to design and implement automated testing solutions that ensure high‑quality digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using the Playwright framework (TypeScript).
• Collaborate on building robust applications with TypeScript/JavaScript, following best‑practice coding standards.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback on code quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with teams to resolve them promptly.
• Analyze quality metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing (e.g., JMeter) to detect bottlenecks.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for test automation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive learning attitude.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and testing approaches.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
