Wintel Systems Engineer

About the role

Join Rank Interactive’s high‑performing IT Hosting Support team in Mauritius as a Systems Engineer (Wintel). You will work with modern Microsoft infrastructure, virtualised environments and cloud technologies, ensuring our enterprise‑scale services remain secure, resilient and available.

Key responsibilities

• Support Windows Server and virtualised platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
• Administer storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and PKI/Certificate Authority services.
• Resolve incidents and service requests via an ITIL‑based Service Desk.
• Perform proactive maintenance, system tuning and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and third‑party suppliers.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Windows Server environments.
• Hands‑on virtualisation experience (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365.
• Understanding of SAN/NAS storage and PKI/CA concepts.
• Process‑driven mindset with familiarity of ITIL practices.
