Account Manager – Financial Reporting

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of professionals to deliver high‑quality, on‑time financial reporting outputs in line with SLA, policies and procedures.
• Oversee planning, coordination and completion of NAVs, management reporting and statutory reporting for multiple structures, ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory obligations.
• Review bookkeeping, monthly/quarterly/annual NAVs, management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Assist specialised services teams and collaborate with Apex offices or clients to ensure efficient, compliant operations.
• Prepare and present reports, KPIs and dashboards for management.
• Manage risks, issues and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Develop and maintain entity‑specific procedures, policies and departmental guidelines.
• Ensure reporting complies with Lux GAAP, IFRS, UK, Singapore and other applicable standards.
• Support implementation of new processes and drive automation and process improvements.
• Coach, mentor and appraise team members, fostering engagement and professional growth.

Required profile

• Professional qualification – CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• 7‑9 years of post‑qualification experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong technical expertise in drafting and reviewing management accounts and financial statements under Lux GAAP, IFRS and other GAAPs.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP and related regulatory developments.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and influence a team.
• Experience with recruiting, performance evaluation and client‑focused solution delivery.

• Advanced Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency with accounting software and databases.
