Accounts Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Clerk to support our accounting function within an international jewellery design and manufacturing company based in Mauritius. The role offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting processes and the chance to develop expertise in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support inventory accounting and related documentation.
• Enter and reconcile data in QuickBooks Online.
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors and customers regarding invoices and payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of accounting systems and compliance practices.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in AP, AR and inventory processes.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly and work with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
