Accounts & Client Operations Officer

About the role

BBI Corporate Services supports businesses with their accounting, financial and administrative functions, and is looking for an experienced, reliable and people-oriented professional to join its team in Phoenix, Mauritius. The role manages a portfolio of client files covering accounting, payroll, client follow-up, payments and organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records and prepare accounts for review
• Prepare payroll and follow up on related matters
• Handle client and supplier requests, coordinate information and follow up on outstanding documents
• Handle banking and payment tasks and monitor cash flow
• Keep files accurate, up to date and properly documented while monitoring deadlines

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm, corporate services environment or similar
• Good knowledge of accounting, financial and payroll processes
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of client files
• ACCA qualifications or ongoing studies, and experience using AI tools, are an advantage
