AI Infrastructure Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Pagos Consultants is expanding its specialist technology recruitment capability and seeks an experienced recruiter with deep knowledge of the AI ecosystem, particularly AI infrastructure and deep‑tech markets. The role involves partnering with founders and engineering leaders to fill senior technical positions in fast‑growing AI companies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead senior and highly technical searches across the AI infrastructure ecosystem, working directly with founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering and other senior stakeholders.
• Map emerging markets, identify hard‑to‑find talent, engage senior candidates credibly and manage searches from market research through to successful placement.
• Build relationships with passive senior candidates and advise clients on market dynamics, candidate availability and compensation.
• Handle multiple high‑priority searches simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting within AI/ML, infrastructure software, cloud computing, data platforms, developer tools, high‑performance computing or semiconductor/AI hardware markets.
• Ability to understand complex engineering requirements and translate them into clear candidate search strategies.
• Comfort speaking credibly with technical founders and engineering executives.
• Strong research skills to map fast‑moving technology markets and identify talent beyond obvious LinkedIn searches.

What we offer

• Above‑basic salary plus bonuses with on‑target earnings of 250,000 Mauritian rupees per month.
