Animateur enfance‑jeunesse (H/F) – Service Vie Educative

About the role

The municipality is looking for a dedicated Animator to welcome children, teenagers and their families in a safe and caring environment. The role involves supervising during school‑time and holiday periods, designing educational and leisure activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome children, youths and families, providing a secure and supportive setting.
• Ensure physical, moral and emotional safety, and enforce hygiene and safety rules.
• Supervise children during before‑school, midday, evening and Wednesday sessions, as well as during school holidays.
• Design, implement and evaluate varied educational, cultural, sports, artistic and leisure projects.
• Maintain compliance with regulations governing collective care of minors.
• Collaborate with teachers, ATSEM, catering staff and other educational partners.
• Manage conflicts, promote coexistence and report incidents.
• Participate in team meetings, cross‑service projects and community events.
• Occasionally assume deputy‑director or camp‑leader responsibilities during extra‑school periods.

Required skills

• Relevant youth‑animation qualifications such as BAFA, CAP Petite Enfance, BPJEPS or equivalent.
