Operations & Student Success Trainee

About the role

Bonsai Camp is seeking a motivated Operations & Student Success Trainee to support the delivery of its bootcamps and corporate training programs. This hybrid position offers hands‑on experience across student support, academic operations, and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for students, answering inquiries, monitoring engagement, and assisting with internship applications, CV preparation and interview readiness.
• Maintain accurate attendance records for classes and instructors, coordinate class schedules, create virtual learning links and distribute session recordings.
• Support the organization of hackathons, capstone projects, Demo Days and final presentations, including tracking submissions and assisting with marking administration.
• Assist with onboarding new students, manage accounts on learning platforms, and ensure access to course materials.
• Help coordinate internship placements, maintain relationships with employer partners and track placement outcomes.
• Follow up on student payments, prepare basic operational reports and keep administrative records up to date.
• Create and monitor student feedback surveys, compile reports and contribute to quality‑assurance initiatives.
• Support student recruitment activities, follow up leads, and assist in preparing proposals, quotations and business documentation.

Required profile

• Strong organisational abilities and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
• Positive attitude, initiative‑taking and interest in education or technology.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
