Asset Services & Data Specialist

About the role

The Asset Services & Data Specialist will ensure accurate, timely, and controlled asset servicing for a diverse client base. You will protect client entitlements, support market obligations, and maintain data integrity across custody and post‑trade systems.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex asset servicing and corporate action events end‑to‑end, interpreting market announcements and meeting cut‑off times.
• Capture, validate, and submit client instructions and elections to markets, custodians, or agents.
• Calculate, reconcile, and post cash and securities entitlements to avoid discrepancies.
• Provide specialist support for tax operations, including relief at source and tax reclaims.
• Set up, validate, and maintain securities static data, identifiers, and lifecycle updates.
• Perform price maintenance and market data updates using approved sources.
• Create, amend, and close investment portfolios and accounts in line with documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Review and evidence client and account documentation for audit and regulatory readiness.
• Investigate and resolve processing exceptions, data discrepancies, and breaks.
• Prepare clear communications on onboarding, events, deadlines, and confirmations.
• Respond to complex operational queries while applying policies and procedures.
• Collate and analyse operational data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Accountability for delivering accurate and timely asset servicing.
• Strong understanding of custody, post‑trade systems, and corporate actions.
• Experience with client onboarding, documentation maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Analytical mindset to investigate exceptions and implement corrective actions.
