Associate, Analytics - Incentives & Commercial Reporting

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst, Incentives & Commercial Reporting, to join its growing team in Ebene, Mauritius. Reporting to the Manager of Incentives & Commercial Reporting, you will own the day-to-day execution of complex datasets, build and maintain key dashboards and calculate the commercial compensation that drives frontline teams.

Key responsibilities

• Incentive execution: calculate, audit and administer commercial compensation and bonus plans so that every payout is accurate, transparent and delivered on time.
• Data investigation and reporting: maintain the commercial reporting cadence, extracting and manipulating raw data to turn estimates into predictable business performance.
• Dashboards and tech stack: build and maintain dashboards using BigQuery, Looker and advanced Google Sheets as the single source of truth.
• Process optimization: identify manual bottlenecks in reporting workflows and help design automated, scalable solutions.
• Workflow automation: design, build and manage automated workflows that remove repetitive manual steps in commercial reporting and incentive management.
• Strategic support: partner with the Manager and the Revenue Operations team to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for Commercial Leaders.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Revenue/Sales Operations, Finance or a similar analytical role in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualification in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or another highly quantitative degree.
• Meticulous attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity, with a software engineering mindset (version control, modular code, automated testing).

Required skills

• Strong programming skills such as Python and SQL, and hands-on experience with developer tools and AI coding assistants.
• Practical exposure to BigQuery and experience building scalable visualizations in Looker.
• Advanced Google Sheets, including complex formulas, large data sets and financial modeling.
