About the role

The Associate will support the Client Accounting team by maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining proper accounting records in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, tax computations and liaise with auditors.
  • Ensure audited financial statements are filed with the authorities within statutory deadlines.
  • Prepare and file Annual returns, APS returns, TDS returns, VAT returns and other applicable returns on time.

Required profile

  • First degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • ACCA partly or fully qualified.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Global Business sector.
  • Fluent in oral and written English and French.
  • Dynamic, committed and proactive, able to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good team player with strong customer service drive.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience with tax computations and statutory filing.
