About the role
The Associate Executive – Regulatory & Compliance will support the compliance function in preventing, detecting, and responding to compliance, regulatory, and ML/TF risks in line with the AML/CFT Framework. You will conduct file reviews and due diligence for client onboarding, assist in designing the KYC Framework, and provide FATCA and CRS compliance support across multiple jurisdictions with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct multi‑jurisdictional KYC reviews, due diligence, sanctions and World‑Check screenings, and account verification to ensure compliant client onboarding and account maintenance.
- Manage KYC documentation, perform file reviews and gap analyses, recommend remedial actions, and ensure client records are accurate, complete, and securely maintained.
- Support FATCA and CRS compliance, monitor regulatory developments, draft and update Key Operating Procedures (KOPs), and provide timely responses to compliance‑related queries.
- Deliver high‑quality, error‑free work within agreed timelines, proactively communicate risks or delays, and exercise sound judgment when escalating issues.
- Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders, support and train junior colleagues, protect information assets in line with ISMS requirements, and undertake additional compliance‑related duties as needed.
Required profile
- Degree in Law or equivalent qualification; prior experience in a similar compliance role is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CFT, FATCA/CRS and international compliance frameworks, including FATF, Basel Committee standards and EU regulations.
- Ability to identify potential compliance and risk issues, conduct investigations and apply analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with advanced‑level skills for accurate compliance documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication in English and French and confidence collaborating with stakeholders across jurisdictions.
