Associate (Payment) - Asset Manager Services

About the role

Ocorian's Asset Manager Services division (Private Wealth & Corporate, Issuer Services) is hiring a Payment Associate in Moka. You will join the Payments team and help ensure a smooth, accurate and efficient payment experience for a diverse client portfolio, working alongside administration, client service and operational teams. The role covers end-to-end payment processing, supplier maintenance and cash management, and is offered in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Process client and fund payments accurately and efficiently, within agreed timelines
• Prepare and submit payment runs across multiple online banking platforms
• Verify suppliers and keep accurate supplier records in internal systems
• Build working relationships with administration teams, clients and other stakeholders
• Prepare payment instructions and supporting documentation for review and approval
• Maintain payment records, workflows and system updates throughout the payment lifecycle
• Support cash management activities and post-payment reviews
• Respond promptly to payment queries and assist with reporting, reconciliation and other operational activities
• Work with colleagues to improve processes and deliver client service

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in payment operations, finance administration, financial services or a similar administrative environment
• Basic understanding of payment processing, cash management and financial administration
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and commitment to confidentiality and compliance

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Relevant certifications or ongoing studies in finance, accounting, banking or a related discipline are advantageous but not essential
