CAD/BIM Technician – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

Arup is seeking a CAD/BIM Technician to support the creation of high‑quality civil and electrical engineering drawings, models and digital deliverables for renewable energy, transmission, distribution and broader infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain detailed AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit drawings and 3D models for solar PV, wind, BESS, substations, transmission lines and underground cable systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across local, regional and international markets to ensure integrated, accurate project outputs.
• Self‑check all documentation for accuracy, completeness, coordination and compliance before internal review.
• Manage project records, track risks and meet delivery deadlines using BIM and digital tools.
• Support quality assurance, technical excellence and efficient project delivery.

Required profile

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, BIM technicians and other disciplines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to self‑checking and quality standards.
• Willingness to develop digital skills through Arup learning resources and in‑house guidance.
