Chief Electrician

About the role

Constance Prince Maurice, a luxury resort in Mauritius, is looking for an experienced Chief Electrician to lead the electrical maintenance team. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical infrastructure across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and technicians, planning preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose faults, repair equipment, and inspect installations, switchboards, motors, generators, lighting and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes and company procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance, maintain records, and coordinate with engineering and operations departments.
• Respond to emergencies, conduct safety inspections and manage spare parts inventory.

Required profile

• Diploma, certificate or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a senior electrician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety practices.
• Leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
