Client Management & Business Development Coordinator

About the role

EllGeo Re is seeking a motivated professional to join its Client Management & Business Development team in Phoenix, Mauritius. The role supports market intelligence, client engagement and strategic initiatives across Africa and emerging markets, offering exposure to international reinsurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Assess strategic markets and evaluate potential business opportunities.
• Coordinate with production teams to improve conversion rates.
• Manage client relationships and drive market engagement activities.
• Analyse performance data and generate business insights for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of professional experience; recent graduates with strong potential are welcome.
• University degree in Marketing, Economics, International Business, Business Management or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French communication skills.
• Interest in international business, emerging markets and reinsurance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
