Communications Executive – Stakeholder & Relationship Management

About the role

The Communications Executive – Stakeholder & Relationship Management will support the bank’s communications and brand agenda by building strong relationships with key internal and external partners. You will help shape internal and external messaging, enhance brand visibility and contribute to reputation‑building initiatives aligned with the bank’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal and external communications that align with brand, business and reputational goals.
• Draft press releases, media content and communication materials; coordinate media engagements such as interviews and press events.
• Prepare and edit messages for senior executives across internal and external platforms, ensuring consistency with Group communications guidance.
• Support events, sponsorships and ESG initiatives with appropriate communications support.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., SACC, MCCI, Business Mauritius, EDB, Mauritius Finance) and organise meetings to explore partnership opportunities.
• Represent the Brand & Communications function in internal discussions and external forums as required.
• Prepare briefing notes, meeting summaries and follow‑up actions to maintain alignment on objectives and timelines.
• Identify brand visibility, reputation and thought‑leadership opportunities and facilitate workshops or brainstorming sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in communications, public relations or stakeholder management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and judgement skills when representing the brand.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related communication tools.
