Community Marketer

About the role

Parallels is looking for a hands‑on Community Marketer to strengthen relationships with customers, prospects, enthusiasts and relevant online audiences. You will be the voice of the customer across Reddit, YouTube, forums and other channels, turning conversations into insights and content.

Key responsibilities

• Actively manage Parallels’ presence on Reddit, YouTube, forums, Discord and similar platforms; monitor and respond to customer questions, feedback and product discussions.
• Build and nurture an engaged following by collaborating with moderators, creators and knowledgeable users.
• Gather customer insights, identify recurring themes and feed them to Marketing, Product, Support and Social teams.
• Contribute to the content calendar with topic ideas, FAQs, explainers and tone recommendations based on real‑world conversations.
• Partner with Influencer & Affiliate teams to create creator‑led tutorials, reviews, Q&As and compatibility content.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in customer engagement, digital or community marketing, social media or gaming marketing.
• Hands‑on experience with Reddit, YouTube, forums, Discord or similar creator‑led audiences.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
• Curiosity about technology, software applications and real‑world workflows; gaming knowledge is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Experience using social listening or audience analytics tools (optional but preferred).
• Ability to translate customer conversations into content ideas and actionable insights.
