Customer Support Officer – Spare Parts

About the role

Attached to the head office and reporting to the Team Leader, the Customer Support Officer will help drive sales of consumables, tools, spare parts and components for BIA Group’s equipment used in public works, mining and transport.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers or Parts Sales Support Representatives to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Develop sales forecasts with customers and communicate them to the purchasing department.
• Provide order status reporting, analyse market shares by product type and set development goals.
• Create quotations and orders in SAP, follow up on open quotations and work to win business.
• Process contracts and orders for parts and services, coordinate deliveries with logistics and prepare customer reports.
• Perform simple data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g., foreign trade) or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role within distribution, preferably in export and spare‑parts sales.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP is a plus) and Microsoft Office.
