About the role
Huawei is looking for a local Mauritian Data Analyst to support digital operations and digital platform adoption across the Southern African region. The role combines data analysis, business intelligence and digital operations, turning data into insights that support frontline projects, business development and digital transformation. Both experienced professionals and fresh graduates are welcome; fluent Mandarin-speaking Mauritian graduates are especially encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Support digital operations and digital platform activities across the Southern African region and representative offices
- Manage data cleansing, preparation, modelling, analysis and visualization
- Develop analytical logic and practical data solutions to support business requirements
- Analyse data and provide insights to support frontline projects and business expansion
- Develop dashboards, reports and visualizations using BI tools
- Support deployment, adoption and continuous improvement of digital platforms and data capabilities
- Support representative offices and partners with digital capability introduction and operational adoption
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, specialized operational projects and enterprise knowledge management and knowledge sharing
Required profile
- Fluent English is a must; Chinese-language proficiency is an advantage but not critical
- Good understanding of data analysis methodologies, statistical principles and data visualization
- Preferred: basic understanding of ICT and enterprise technology environments, carrier/operator network architecture and business logic, and enterprise IT architecture and ICT trends
- Advantageous: experience in enterprise knowledge management or specialized operational project design and execution
Required skills
- Data analysis, data modeling and statistical data analysis
- SQL and Python or R
- Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools (highly desirable)
- Data cleansing, analysis, modelling and visualization
