Deputy Money Market Dealer – Treasury

About the role

The Deputy Money Market Dealer supports the Treasury function in daily cash, liquidity and treasury operations, working closely with the Money Market Dealer and Treasurer. The role offers exposure to money market, FX and fixed‑income activities while developing technical knowledge for future progression.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions, nostro balances and liquidity to meet operational requirements.
• Assist in executing and processing money‑market, foreign‑exchange, fixed‑income and funding transactions within approved mandates.
• Prepare dealing tickets, confirmations and maintain accurate treasury records and audit trails.
• Track market developments in interest rates, FX and fixed‑income securities and communicate relevant observations.
• Support risk monitoring, reporting and compliance with Treasury policies and limits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in banking, treasury, finance or financial markets.
• Strong analytical, numerical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of money‑market instruments, foreign‑exchange products, interest‑rate derivatives, repurchase agreements and fixed‑income securities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
