DevOps Engineer

About the role

DuoKey develops key management and encryption solutions for enterprise cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Google and AWS. As a DevOps Engineer you bridge development and operations, applying software engineering principles to improve service uptime and performance. The role is strictly based in Mauritius; only candidates currently living there will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, scale and maintain infrastructure using automation and configuration management tools.
• Work with development and security teams to design and implement robust, scalable services.
• Monitor service health, respond to incidents and ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Run post-incident reviews and put in place preventative measures.
• Optimise system performance through capacity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of the security landscape, from cloud and infrastructure security to vulnerability management, monitoring and incident response.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Problem-solving mindset focused on reliability and availability.

Required skills

• Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Configuration management and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm charts).
• CI/CD methodologies.
