About the role

Deloitte Mauritius is looking for an Executive to join its Accounting & Reporting Assurance (ARA) team. You will support clients in preparing accurate financial statements in line with IFRS and other accounting standards, and advise on complex accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring compliance with IFRS and IAS.
  • Advise clients on mergers, restructurings and new reporting requirements.
  • Assist in consolidating financial data for group companies.
  • Collaborate with clients to improve finance processes.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, accounting manuals and reports.
  • Mentor junior staff members.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Degree in Accounting or professional qualification such as ACCA or ACAS.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
