Executive - Fund Accounting

About the role

Apex Group, a fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is looking for an Executive to prepare NAV reporting packs and financial statements for private equity and hedge funds, liaise with auditors and act as the main point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for funds (private equity or hedge funds) according to client frequency, with the possibility of review.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account and financial statements at the frequency required by clients, with the possibility of review.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure audits are completed on time.
• Take part in transfer agency transactions as and when required.
• Hold overall responsibility for client relationships, inquiries and meetings.

Required profile

• Around 2+ years of accounting experience; fund industry experience is an advantage.
• ACCA qualified, partly qualified or any equivalent qualification.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Hard worker ready to put in extra hours, good interpersonal communication, organised, accurate and willing to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software (Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue) is an advantage.
