Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive will support the finance lead in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for MCB Group and its subsidiaries. This position plays a key part in ensuring compliance with external regulations while adding value to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the finance lead with preparation of regulatory reports, monthly P&L, and balance sheets for specific entities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and contribute to the consolidation process as required.
• Review and verify invoices, manage accounts receivable, and ensure timely payment collection.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, inter‑company transactions, and take corrective actions to avoid financial loss.
• Support strategic planning and budgeting cycles, providing input for the BU’s strategic plan.
• Lead or participate in finance projects, ensuring implementation aligns with standards.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with other business units and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to policies, statutory reporting obligations, and continuously seek process optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business units and with external partners.
• Attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and managing cash flow.
