Finance Intern

About the role

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Team with day‑to‑day accounting activities, including updates to the General Ledger, accounts payable, and various finance projects. This role offers hands‑on experience in core finance functions and exposure to month‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Ledger Accounting team with ledger updates and journal preparation.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Participate in finance‑related projects, helping with planning, tracking, execution and follow‑up.
• Provide support during month‑end closing activities.
• Apply IFRS 16 lease accounting through routine reviews of lease assets.
• Collaborate with other departments on finance initiatives.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree holder in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Effective communication skills.
