Fitness Coach – Rose Hill Gym

About the role

The Fitness Coach will be a visible, approachable presence on the gym floor in Rose Hill, guiding members to use equipment safely and effectively. You will help new members get oriented, support their progress, and contribute to a positive, disciplined training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise members on the gym floor, ensuring correct and safe equipment use.
• Provide basic corrections on exercise technique and answer fitness‑related questions.
• Orient new members to equipment, routines, and gym policies.
• Identify and prevent unsafe practices or potential injury risks.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards in training areas.
• Collaborate with marketing or management to create simple social‑media content (short videos, photos, tips).
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and gym staff.

Required profile

• Motivated, disciplined and committed to professional standards.
• Approachable, confident and comfortable interacting with members and on camera.
• Team‑oriented, reliable and responsible.
• Own transport and availability to work Monday‑Sunday with one day off during the weekend.

Required skills

• Relevant fitness or sports qualification (or working toward one).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a gym or fitness environment.
• Sound knowledge of exercise techniques, equipment use and injury prevention.
• Physically fit and able to demonstrate exercises when needed.
