Freelance Business English Trainer (Remote)

About the role

Business Speaking, a France-based training provider specialising in spoken Business English and working with more than 500 companies, is looking for freelance trainers to deliver one-to-one lessons to adult learners in France. The approach is conversation-led, focusing on real conversations, workplace situations and each learner's professional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one 30-45 minute lessons by phone or video call to adult learners in France.
• Coach spoken general and Business English for meetings, presentations, client conversations, negotiations and job-specific situations.
• Personalise lessons around learners' professional objectives and relevant workplace documents.
• Keep brief, consistent learning records using the digital tools provided.

Required profile

• Native-level English or demonstrable C2 proficiency, with clear and professional spoken communication.
• Knowledge of French to work with the team and support French-speaking learners.
• Proven experience teaching English to adults; Business English experience strongly preferred.
• A teaching qualification (CELTA, TEFL, TESOL or equivalent).
• Self-employed or freelancing status, a registered company, a reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.
• Availability to devote at least 50% of working time to the project, at times compatible with French business hours.

Required skills

• Confidence with online teaching and digital tools (CRM, Google Drive, Excel and Office).
• Ability to teach remotely to adult learners.
